    Bridger works with state regulators to secure approval as an alternative to traditional leak detection and repair (LDAR) methods. Operators in approved states can replace required surveys with aerial monitoring in one consolidated program instead of a patchwork of methods.

    Federal Approvals in the US

     EPA OOOOb / OOOOc (Methane Rule) Approved  The most broadly approved aerial methane detection technology under the EPA's Methane Rule — cleared for every sensitivity and scan frequency tier in the matrix. 
    EPA Subpart W (GHG Reporting Program)  Approved  GML's quantified emission data helps streamline annual greenhouse gas reporting and Waste Emissions Charge calculations. 
    PHMSA Pipeline Leak Detection Rule  In Progress Bridger tracks PHMSA's proposed rule on gas pipeline leak detection and repair, and has submitted formal comments supporting advanced technology use. 

     

    US State Approvals

    New Mexico (AELMP / ALARM)  Approved  Approved as an alternative to required OGI and EPA Method 21 surveys under the state's Ozone Precursor Rule across eight counties. 
    Colorado  Approved  Approved for use in meeting Colorado's fugitive emissions and leak detection requirements. 
    Pennsylvania Approved  Bridger is an approved technology for operators seeking to meet PA-DEP requirements. 
    Texas In Progress Bridger is engaged with Texas regulatory programs as state-level methane and VOC rules continue to develop. 
    Other Producing States In Progress Bridger continues to pursue state-level approvals in additional basins as regulatory frameworks evolve.

     

    International Approvals

    OGMP 2.0 (Oil & Gas Methane Partnership) Level 4 and Level 5 Approved  GML's site-level, quantified data is designed to support Level 4 and Level 5 measurement-based reporting under OGMP 2.0. 
     Canada — ECCC Federal Framework In Progress
    		 Bridger tracks Environment and Climate Change Canada's regulatory framework and has submitted formal comments on proposed methane rules. 
     Alberta Energy Regulator (Alt-FEMP) 
    		 Approved  Approved under Alberta's Alternative Fugitive Emission Management Program as a substitute for standard OGI/AVO survey methods. 
    Australia 
    		 In Progress Bridger is active with operators in Australia, including production and pipeline assets, as the region's regulatory and voluntary reporting landscape develops. 
    European Union Methane Regulation In Progress Bridger provides a best-available technology as called on by the regulation white more specifics on leak detection requirements.
